LOUVRE ABU DHABI

It consists of artworks from different cultures side -by side. Different themes highlight the similarities of artistic expression, from prehistoric times to the present day, transcending both cultures and borders. As you will walk through the galleries, you will notice we have more in common than we know. Designed by world -renewed French architect Jean Nouvel, Louvre Abu Dhabi ‘s dome and architecture is reminiscent of the interlaced palm leaves of traditional Emirati roofs. When the sun passes above the dome, its rays filter lightly through the perforations, creating an inspiring effect which we refer to as „ The Rain of Light“!
